Frequently Asked Questions 

  1. What is the address of the venue?
    Concerts are performed at Tarara, 13648 Tarara Lane, Leesburg, VA 20176.

     

  2. Where do I purchase tickets?
    Tickets are available for advanced purchase online at tararaconcerts.com/schedule. Tickets are also available for purchase at the main ticket booth the evening of the concert (if the concert is not sold out).

     

  3. How much are tickets? 
    ONLINE SALES
    General admission for guests OVER 21 is $20.00, plus applicable fees (added at check out) and tax when ordered online.
    General admission for guests UNDER 21 is $15.00, plus applicable fees (added at check out) and tax when ordered online.


    GATE SALES
    General admission for guests OVER 21 is $25.00.
    General admission for guests UNDER 21 is $15.00.
    General admission for guests UNDER 10 is FREE.

     

  4. Are tickets refundable?
    All ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges will be given. Refunds will only be given if a respective concert is canceled, will not be rescheduled, and the band(s) does not perform at least half of their musical set. 

     

  5. What should I bring?
    You’re highly encouraged to bring foldable chairs, picnic blankets, etc. with you. Picnics and outside food are permitted, but no outside alcohol per ABC regulations. Personal canopy tents are not permitted.

     

  6. What if it rains?
    Concerts are held rain or shine. The only time concerts will be canceled or delayed is if lightning is present at the concert site and the weather does not look to improve. We closely monitor radars and work with the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office to make the best decision possible for everyone. In the event of rain, you are welcome to drive to Handicapped Parking to drop off your guests, and then return your car to General Parking. Personal canopy tents are not permitted.  Day of concert updates will be given on the official Tarara Summer Concert Series Facebook page (www.facebook.com/tararaconcerts). 

     

  7. What time do doors open?
    The doors open at 5:00pm, unless stated differently on the concert schedule.

     

  8. What time do concerts start?
    The concerts run from 6:00 p.m. – 9:30 p.m.

     

  9. Are tents available to rent at the concerts?
    Yes, tents are available to rent and require reservations. Private Tent Pack
    ages includes a private tent, tables, chairs, black linens, souvenir wine glasses, a custom sign, and a concert ticket for each guest. A minimum of 16 guests is required to reserve a tent. For more information, please contact Dawn Klepser at (703) 220-4041 or dawn@bowtiestrategies.com. This is a very popular product, so plan to book early to reserve your space.
     

  10. Where can I park?
    General Parking is located on the main road leading to the winery. Watch for signs as you enter the property. Concert parking is located on the left after entering the property.

     

  11. Is handicapped parking available?
    Yes, handicapped parking is available. Watch for signs as you enter the property. The main road will end in a “T” at the white farmhouse. Turn right and follow signs around the lake.

     

  12. Are there outdoor restroom facilities?
    Yes, portable toilets will be provided.

     

  13. Is food available for purchase?
    Yes, food is available for purchase. There will be a rotation of food trucks throughout the season. Please note that the advertised food trucks may change at the last minute without notice. 

     

  14. Can I bring a picnic?
    You are welcome to bring food to the concerts; however, no outside alcohol is permitted per ABC regulations.

     

  15. Is outside alcohol permitted?
    Outside alcohol is strictly prohibited at Tarara Winery per ABC regulations. All coolers and bags, including purses and diaper bags, are inspected by staff and/or security. You must remove the alcohol or it will be confiscated. However, Tarara wines are available for purchase by the bottle at the concert venue, draft beer from Loudoun Brewing Company and cider from Buskey Cider is available for purchase.
     

  16. Are there activities for children at the concerts?
    Although children are welcome at the concerts, there are no official activities. For safety reasons, children attending the concerts must be closely supervised by an adult at all times and be wearing shoes at all times. Children will not be permitted to play in front of Wine Sales Pavilion or the Stage. 

     

  17. Is smoking or vaping permitted at Tarara?
    The concerts are located at an outdoor venue; therefore, smoking and vaping are permitted in designated areas only. Watch for signage at the concerts. Smoking and Vaping will not be allowed outside of the designated area.

     

  18. Are pets allowed?
    Pets are not allowed at the concert venue. If you have a service dog, then the animal must be leashed at all times. 

     

  19. What transportation options are available if I don't want to drive?

    Please note that Uber and Lyft will drop-off, but most will not pickup from our venue. Please plan accordingly. 

     

  20. Are party buses allowed?
    Yes, party buses and tour buses are permitted. We have more than enough parking for personal vehicles, buses, executive vehicles, and even canoes and paddle boards.

     

  21. Are reusable water containers allowed?
    Reusable water bottles must be empty. If your reusable water bottle has a liquid in it at either of the cooler/bag check points, then you will be required to empty the contents prior to entering the concert venue. Unfortunately, some attendees do not follow the no outside alcohol policy and use the reusable water containers to confiscate probitied items.
