The Big Rock Show Is Coming: Slippery When Wet Returns for One Final Tarara Blowout

A group of four men resembling the real Bon Jovi band.
Members of Slippery When Wet - The Ultimate Bon Jovi Tribute band.

Turn up the volume. Gather your crew. Warm up those vocal cords.

This Saturday, August 8, Slippery When Wet – The Ultimate Bon Jovi Tribute returns to the Tarara Summer Concert Series for one final, fist-pumping, sing-every-word night beside Shadow Lake.

And trust us—this is not a sit-back-and-watch kind of show.

A Full-Throttle Rock Experience

When asked what Tarara fans can expect Saturday night, the band kept it simple:

“A high-energy show that is interactive with all.”

That means the audience is not just watching the concert—the audience becomes part of it.

From the first guitar riff to the final chorus, expect hands in the air, voices at full volume and an entire lawn moving together.

Slippery When Wet recreates the sound, energy and larger-than-life experience of a Bon Jovi arena concert, complete with the massive hits, electric stage presence and exacting live arrangements that have made the band one of the most celebrated Bon Jovi tribute acts anywhere.

For anyone seeing them for the first time, the band describes the experience in seven perfect words:

“The closest thing to the real thing.”

You Already Know the Moment

Which song gets the biggest reaction?

Their answer:

“Duh… ‘Livin’ on a Prayer.’”

And honestly, what else could it be?

The moment those opening notes hit, the entire lawn erupts. Friends throw their arms around one another. Drinks go up. Phones come out. Suddenly, thousands of people are singing the same song beneath the stars—and nobody is holding back.

But that is only one moment in a night packed with the songs you know by heart. Get ready for a wall-to-wall celebration featuring favorites like “You Give Love a Bad Name,” “Wanted Dead or Alive,” “Bad Medicine,” “It’s My Life” and plenty more.

This is the big rock show, and every song feels like an anthem.

Tarara Crowds Come Ready to Rock

There is something different about a summer concert at Tarara. Maybe it is the open lawn beside Shadow Lake. Maybe it is the sunset behind the stage. Or maybe it is the crowd—thousands of people who arrive ready to leave the week behind and have some serious fun.

That energy is exactly what Slippery When Wet loves about performing here:

“The big open space and playing to a crowd that is there to have fun—not sit and stare at you.”

Saturday night is your invitation to dance, sing, cheer and become part of the show. No velvet ropes. No distant arena seats. Just the band, the music and one enormous Tarara rock party under the stars.

One Final Blowout

This performance carries a little more meaning because 2026 is the Final Encore season of the Tarara Summer Concert Series.

Slippery When Wet has shared some unforgettable nights with us over the years, and the band is ready to give Tarara the farewell it deserves:

“Some really fun times on the property. While we will miss it, we’re glad we have the chance to do one final blowout.”

That final blowout happens this Saturday.

There will not be another Slippery When Wet concert at Tarara next summer. There will not be another season to catch the show you meant to attend. The Final Encore is happening now, and every remaining Saturday is one less chance to experience this place the way it was meant to be experienced—filled with music, friends and thousands of voices singing together.

If You Only Come to One Tarara Show This Month…

Make it this one because:

“It’s the big rock show—with all of the songs you know.”

Big guitars. Massive choruses. Nonstop energy. One legendary song after another. And when “Livin’ on a Prayer” fills the night air, you are going to want to be standing on that lawn singing with everyone else.

Do not wait until you see the photos Monday morning and wish you had been there.

This is the Final Encore. This is Slippery When Wet. And this is our chance for one final Tarara blowout.
