One More Southern Rock Saturday: HIGH NOON Takes Over Tarara
Turn up the guitars, gather your concert crew, and get ready to raise a little Southern-fried thunder at Shadow Lake.
This Saturday, September 19, HIGH NOON – The East Coast’s Premier Tribute to Southern Rock storms the Tarara Summer Concert Series for a full-throttle night packed with blazing guitar solos, gritty harmonies, driving rhythms, and the legendary anthems that defined a generation.
If you love your rock loud, your guitars fierce, and your choruses big enough for an entire lawn to sing together, this is your night.
And here is the part we are still not ready to say:
This is the second-to-last concert ever at Tarara.
That is not marketing hype. After 27 unforgettable seasons, only two Saturday nights remain before the Tarara Summer Concert Series takes its final bow. If you have been telling yourself that you will make it to “one more concert,” you are officially running out of Saturdays.
Welcome to the Southern Rock Revival
Southern Rock was made for nights like this.
It is the sound of scorching guitar solos, soulful vocals, pounding drums, open roads, rebellious spirits, and songs that somehow feel even bigger when they are played outdoors beneath a summer sky.
HIGH NOON does not simply perform these classics—they bring their unmistakable swagger, soul, and fire roaring back to life.
Prepare to sing along to the music of:
🎸 Lynyrd Skynyrd🔥 The Allman Brothers Band🥁 Molly Hatchet⚡ The Outlaws🎤 38 Special
From soul-stirring ballads to high-octane, twin-guitar anthems, HIGH NOON delivers the raw power, precision, and musicianship that made ’70s Southern Rock legendary. Their show is a celebration of the bands that created a sound unlike anything else—a little bit country, a whole lot of rock and roll, and completely impossible to hear while sitting still.
Expect soaring solos, driving rhythms, enormous choruses, and more than a few songs that will have the entire crowd singing at the top of its lungs.
Yes, someone is absolutely going to yell for “Free Bird.”
Honestly, it may be us.
This Is What Saturday Nights at Tarara Were Made For
Picture it: your chair is on the lawn, a drink is in your hand, the sun is beginning to set over Shadow Lake, and the opening guitar riff of a song you know by heart cuts through the evening air.
Around you, friends are laughing, glasses are being raised, and thousands of voices are joining together for another one of those only-at-Tarara moments.
That is the magic we have shared here for more than a quarter-century.
For 27 summers, Tarara has been the place where Saturday nights came alive. It is where generations of music lovers gathered beneath the stars, discovered new favorite bands, reunited with old friends, danced barefoot on the lawn, and created the kinds of summer memories that never really fade.
This Saturday, we get to do it one more time—with a Southern Rock soundtrack turned all the way up.
Come hungry and visit the food trucks. Enjoy Tarara wine and cold beer. Find your favorite place on the lawn, settle in with your crew, and prepare for a night filled with big guitars, bigger singalongs, and the unmistakable energy of the Final Encore season.
Your Next-to-Last Night at Shadow Lake
It is easy to assume there will always be another Saturday.
Another concert. Another sunset. Another song echoing across the lake. Another chance to say, “We’ll go next week.”
But this time, there really is not.
After HIGH NOON leaves the stage, only one concert will remain: The Reflex on Saturday, September 26, closing the Tarara Summer Concert Series for the final time.
That means we have just two more chances to experience this place the way it was meant to be experienced.
Two more nights to claim your favorite spot on the lawn. Two more nights to dance under the stars. Two more nights to sing with thousands of friends. Two more nights to make memories at Shadow Lake. Two more nights to say, “I was there.”
The Final Encore is nearly over, and once these final notes fade, there will not be another summer concert at Tarara.
Do Not Wait for the Photos
You already know what will happen on Sunday.
The photos will fill social media. Your friends will talk about the guitar solos, the crowd, the sunset, and the songs everyone sang together. Someone will tell you it was one of the best nights of the season—and you will wish you had been there.
Do not be that person.
Bring your chairs and blankets, round up your favorite people, and join us for one more unforgettable Southern Rock Saturday at one of Loudoun County’s most iconic live-music settings.
Whether these songs were the soundtrack of your youth or you simply believe music sounds better with loud guitars and a little Southern swagger, HIGH NOON is ready to deliver a show worthy of the Final Encore.
📅 Saturday, September 19 - Doors: 5:00PM. Music 6:00PM.
📍 Tarara, 13648 Tarara Lane, Leesburg, VA 20176
The guitars will be loud. The crowd will be ready. The memories will last long after the final chord.
Only two concerts remain. Do not miss a single note.
