Start your engines, Loudoun—Labor Day Weekend is about to begin with a full-throttle blast of classic rock!

This Saturday, September 5, the Tarara Summer Concert Series turns Shadow Lake into a massive outdoor arena as The Super 70’s Rock Show featuring Super Trans AM and The Darby Brothers deliver a night packed with legendary guitar riffs, soaring vocals, and songs everyone knows by heart.

This is not the weekend to stay home. This is the weekend to grab your friends, dust off your air guitar, and rock your way through the greatest decade in music!

First Up: The Darby Brothers

The night begins with Northern Virginia favorites The Darby Brothers and their tribute to epic rock—just like you remember it.

Inspired by the masterful bands of the ’70s and ’80s, The Darby Brothers recreate classics from Journey, Led Zeppelin, Queen, Foreigner, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Tom Petty, and many more.

Expect powerful vocals, serious musicianship, and one crowd favorite after another. They are the perfect band to turn up the volume and get Labor Day Weekend officially underway.

Then, Start Your Engines!

When The Super 70’s Rock Show featuring Super Trans AM takes the stage, Tarara is going straight back to the decade of bell-bottoms, eight-tracks, muscle cars, and larger-than-life arena rock.

Super Trans AM delivers an electrifying, immersive concert experience celebrating the artists who ruled the radio, including:

The Eagles, Queen, Boston, Journey, Foreigner, KISS, The Doobie Brothers, Hall & Oates, Peter Frampton, and more!

This is not simply a band playing a collection of cover songs. It is a high-octane rock spectacle filled with powerhouse vocals, blistering guitar solos, nostalgic visuals, and the kind of massive singalongs that make complete strangers feel like lifelong friends.

Whether you lived through the ’70s or simply wish you had, this show will make you want to roll down the windows, turn up the radio, and never leave the decade behind.

Kick Off Labor Day Weekend at Shadow Lake

There is no better way to begin the long weekend than with live music, food trucks, Tarara wine, cold beer, friends, and an unforgettable evening beside Shadow Lake.

Bring your lawn chairs and blankets, find your favorite spot, and prepare to sing every chorus at the top of your lungs. The music begins at 6:00 p.m., but this is one night when you will want to arrive early and soak up every moment.

One of the Final Four Concerts at Tarara

Here is the part we still cannot believe: only four concerts remain in the Final Encore season—including this one.

After 27 years of music beneath the stars, these final Saturday nights at Tarara are disappearing quickly. Every concert brings us one step closer to the final song, the final dance, and the final goodbye.

So do not wait for the photos. Do not tell yourself you will catch the next one. There are almost no “next ones” left.

This is your chance to kick off Labor Day Weekend with two incredible bands, decades of legendary rock, and one more unforgettable night at Tarara.

Start your engines. Turn up the volume. Let’s rock Shadow Lake one more time.
